Happy Halloween!

We fell back last night so today feels a bit off   . . . in typical Halloween weather, it's raining here!  Good thing there is no trick-or-treating.  There are a few costumes in the stores, but for most French, today is just October 31st (I did see a poster for a Halloween "ball" last night in a neighboring village).   


We had to harvest our rogue pumpkins at the end of September because Pascal saw a black viper (!) during our daily inspection of the garden.  After donning boots and placing Sophie in the wheelbarrow, we did not find the snake.  The weather was gorgeous so I took a few pics of our poodle Fifi:
